Where do the star lines come from?
The result uses a Song–Yuan Chinese asterism reconstruction with traceable sources. It is one documented reconstruction, not a claim of the only historically correct drawing.
All charts keep north up and east left. A double cinnabar ring marks the determinative star. Charts are never rotated, mirrored, or redrawn by an image model.

This page always uses the daily 28-mansion sequence common in Chinese almanacs. A site using another starting point or mansion tradition may differ; check whether it also labels the result as the daily almanac mansion.
Do the lunar mansions follow the lunar calendar?
The daily almanac mansions follow a continuous day sequence rather than lunar month and day alone. Lunar input is first converted to the same actual calendar day.
Does birth time change the result?
No. This daily almanac method uses the date only.
Does this method include the Ox mansion?
Yes. It uses the complete cycle of all 28 mansions, including Ox in the Northern Black Tortoise group.
Is this the Moon’s real astronomical position at birth?
No. This is a traditional calendrical assignment, not a calculation from birth location, exact time, and astronomical ephemerides.
