Reading this star map
Star Mansion has seven stars spread vertically, with a substantial gap between the upper three and the lower group. The reference is near the lower group. “Star Mansion” names this particular entry; adding its deity name, Xing Ri Ma, helps distinguish it from generic searches about lunar mansions.
Understanding the deity title
The traditional title 星日馬 (Xing Ri Ma) combines the mansion character 星, the association 日, and the animal image 馬. The astronomical entry is Star Mansion. A deity portrait expresses cultural imagery; a star map records positions and connecting lines. They can be read together without expecting the star pattern to resemble the animal.

「一名天都，主衣裳文繡」《晉書》卷十一・天文志上・二十八舍Xing is associated with clothing and embroidery. The modern metaphor concerns thoughtful presentation: preparing for an occasion or giving a piece of work a fitting form. Care in expression is valuable without making every ordinary day a performance on which personal worth depends.
