Zhang Yue Lu（Extended Net Mansion）

Reading this star map
Extended Net spreads six stars horizontally, with one projecting at each end and an uneven central group. The red ring is on the right side of the middle, not at the rightmost point. Identify the two ends first, then examine how the six segments organize the central pattern.
Understanding the deity title
The traditional title 張月鹿 (Zhang Yue Lu) combines the mansion character 張, the association 月, and the animal image 鹿. The astronomical entry is Extended Net Mansion. A deity portrait expresses cultural imagery; a star map records positions and connecting lines. They can be read together without expecting the star pattern to resemble the animal.

「主珍寶、宗廟所用及衣服，又主天廚飲食賞齎之事」《晉書》卷十一・天文志上・二十八舍Zhang is linked with ritual valuables, clothing, food and gifts. A modern metaphor is making an occasion feel meaningful and welcoming. Care can become pressure to make everything perfect; sometimes one less dish and more time together better serve the original intention.
