BaZi Dating Compatibility

Compare both partners’ complete charts to see attraction, complementarity, drain and sticking points. Once the charts are fixed, AI reads them in a dating context and answers follow-up questions.

01 · Understanding dating compatibility

What is BaZi dating compatibility?

01

BaZi dating compatibility places two complete birth charts inside one relationship. It does not answer “how many points do we score” — it explains why this relationship flows in some places and keeps catching in others.

02

We built it as evidence for your decision, not as a verdict. Most people who read a dating chart are standing at a choice: the report’s job is to make the complementarity, the drain and the sticking points clear. Whether to continue is yours to decide.

Dating compatibility is not marriage compatibility

Marriage compatibility assumes the marriage already exists and works from the spouse palace, spouse star and life after the wedding. Dating compatibility assumes the relationship is still open: we use partner-palace and partner-star wording, never presume whether you will marry, and never issue “suitable / unsuitable for marriage” verdicts. If marriage is already on the table, BaZi marriage compatibility fits better.

Six things a dating reading actually examines

No romance score. Every chart clue lands on a question you can check against your real experience.

01

What exactly draws us to each other?

Attraction and tension

Starting from the generating, controlling, combining and clashing relations between both day pillars, we explain where the pull comes from — and where the same spot turns into a contest. Attraction and friction often share one origin.

02

Is what I give what they actually need?

Complement and drain

Whether a strong day master paired with a weaker one forms real complementarity, and what each side supplies that the other lacks. The program draws the “what you lack, I happen to have” line first, then hands it to the reading.

03

Why do we keep showing we care in the wrong way?

Relating patterns

From day masters and Ten God structures, we analyse each side’s habitual role — who tends to push, who tends to respond, and whether the ways you express care land on the same channel.

04

Why does the same argument keep repeating?

Sticking points

Based on the program’s punishment, clash, harm and destruction findings, we point out where the recurring friction sits and how it usually surfaces. Recurring does not mean unsolvable — but you first need to see what is recurring.

05

What needs to be said, what can be left alone?

Boundaries and commitment

Closeness is not the absence of boundaries. The reading separates differences that need to be spoken about from those that are simply different rhythms and need no forcing.

06

Is this rough patch about us, or about timing?

Timing and rhythm

With both sides’ luck cycles and annual pillars, we look at how much of the current shift comes from the relationship itself and how much from each person’s life stage. An activated year is not a verdict.

How one dating reading is produced

Fix both charts first, then bring the chart clues back to real life.

  1. 01

    Confirm both birth details

Enter date, time and place for each person. Birth time affects the hour pillar and luck-cycle start; when it is uncertain, conclusions about specific stages and hour-pillar detail should carry lower confidence.

  2. 02

    Cast both complete charts

The program builds four pillars for each person and computes the Five Elements, day master, Ten Gods, in-chart relations, luck cycles and annual pillars as base facts.

  3. 03

    Compare in a dating context

What the AI receives is program-computed cross-chart fact: pillar interactions, partner palace state, elemental complementarity, and this year’s activation. It reads them in a dating context and does not use spouse, husband-wife or marriage-palace wording.

  4. 04

    Test it against real situations

Once the report gives its evidence, you can keep asking about a specific argument, a cold spell, distance or an on-off pattern, so the explanation returns to what you have actually lived.

From chart back to life

“Are we actually right for each other?”

The most asked and least answerable question in dating. It is usually not a question about destiny — it is asking: should I keep investing, or cut my losses.

Clues the reading checks

  • Where the day-pillar interactions land, and whether attraction and friction share a source
  • Whether the Five Elements form real complementarity — does each side supply what the other lacks
  • Whether current luck cycles and annual pillars push both people in the same direction

How it can look in real life

Neither person has done anything wrong, yet the relationship keeps draining: one feels the other is not making enough effort, the other feels they are already trying hard. The argument keeps landing on the same small thing, nobody can name the root, and every reconciliation leaves both a little more tired.

A reading will not tell you to stay or leave. What it can do is locate the drain — mismatched ways of expressing, a genuine conflict of needs, a temporary disturbance from this year’s cycle, or a long-term structural difference. Knowing which one it is, is what gives you something to decide on.

Rules cast the chart, AI explains the relationship

The chart supplies the evidence; your lived experience validates the explanation.

01 · Chart facts

Fixed by the program

Four pillars, Five Elements, day master, Ten Gods, partner palace state, cross-chart interaction and annual activation are all computed from birth data, not inferred by the model. When birth time is incomplete, related conclusions must stay conditional.

02 · Relationship reading

Synthesised by AI

The AI places those computed facts in a dating context and organises them into understandable questions about attraction, complementarity, drain, boundaries and rhythm, then takes follow-ups. It is explicitly instructed to give you the basis for a judgement, not the judgement.

What stages does a relationship move through?

A relationship is not a fixed label — the same couple faces different questions at different points.

  1. Early pull

    Where attraction comes from

Strong attraction often comes from difference — the other person carries the piece you lack. The task here is separating attraction from fit: they can overlap, and they can be unrelated.

  2. Adjustment

    Difference becomes visible

The trait that first attracted you is often exactly what later feels hard to live with. Arguments at this stage usually do not mean someone changed — the difference simply moved from the highlight reel into daily life.

  3. Steady or looping

    Is the sticking point negotiable

Some friction eases once expectations are spoken; some is a genuine conflict of needs. Telling those apart is more useful than another round of apologising and making up.

  4. The decision point

    Continue, adjust or end

When a decision becomes necessary, the useful question is not “are we fated to fit” but: how long can each of you carry this drain, and is each side willing to do something concrete to change it.

What this reading does not do

It helps you understand the relationship. It does not decide for you, and it does not replace being with the person.

  • Does not predict whether you will marry, and issues no “suitable / unsuitable for marriage” verdict
  • Does not generate percentages for fate, sincerity or how long the feelings will last
  • Does not recommend breaking up or winning someone back based on a clash or a single symbol
  • Does not judge who loves more or who will lose interest, and does not replace real conversation and observation

BaZi dating compatibility FAQ

How is dating compatibility different from marriage compatibility?

Marriage compatibility assumes marriage and works from the spouse palace, spouse star and life after the wedding. Dating compatibility assumes the relationship is still open: we switch to partner-palace and partner-star wording, presume nothing about marriage, and issue no marital verdict. If marriage is already on the table, use BaZi marriage compatibility; if you are dating or deciding, this page fits better.

We are not officially together yet — can I still use this?

Yes. As long as both sets of birth details are complete, the two charts can be compared for interaction patterns. But note: a chart describes traits and tendencies. It cannot verify what the other person currently feels or intends — that takes real conversation and observed behaviour.

Our elements clash. Does that mean we are wrong for each other?

No. In BaZi a controlling relation can show up as drive, correction or pressure, and it has to be read together with both complete charts, day master strength, partner palace state and your actual situation. Concluding from a clash alone compresses a complex relationship into one symbol.

Can the reading tell me whether they love me or will lose interest?

No. A chart does not verify feelings, concealment or specific behaviour. If you are facing repeated broken trust, stonewalling or manipulation, act on the observed behaviour — do not let a reading stand in for what you can see.

Can same-sex couples use this reading?

Yes. The analysis looks at the interaction structure between two charts and does not assign roles by gender. The report uses neutral wording and reads for attraction, complementarity, drain and daily relating.

I do not know their birth time. Can it still work?

You can start with the year, month and day pillars, but the hour pillar, luck-cycle start and stage-specific detail will have less support. The report should not state time-dependent judgements as certainties — if you see one, ask it for its basis.

Check the terms, keep reading the relationship

Understand the rules the report cites, then take the observations back into real life to verify.
