BaZi Compatibility FAQ

What is a BaZi relationship network? Which relationships can I analyze?
It's an AI Chinese astrology tool that gathers all your important relationships — marriage, parent-child, business, friends, relatives — on a single BaZi compatibility map. Once you enter both parties' birth information, the system applies traditional Four Pillars theory (Ten Gods, shensha, Da Yun, Liu Nian) to score every relationship 0-100 with detailed insights.
How is the AI BaZi compatibility score calculated?
The score is produced by an AI that weighs multiple dimensions: each day master's strength and favorable elements, clashes and combinations among the four pillars, Ten Gods interactions (Officer, Wealth, Seal, Companion, Output), shensha markers (Nobleman, Peach Blossom, Travel Horse), and the boost or suppression from the current Da Yun and Liu Nian. The AI calls multiple BaZi tools to gather raw data, then returns a 0-100 score with a written interpretation.
Why does the same relationship's score change over time?
Because the score reflects the relationship right now. Da Yun cycles every 10 years and Liu Nian changes every year, so the chart interactions between two people keep shifting. This is the core idea of 'Yun' in Chinese astrology — how deep a connection feels rises and falls with the times.
What relationship types are supported? Marriage, parent-child, business partnerships?
Nine types are supported: marriage, business partnership, parent-child, mother-child, friends, boss-subordinate, mother-in-law, best friends, and relatives. Each type emphasizes different chart elements — marriage looks at the spouse palace and Day pillar, parent-child at the Year/Month pillars and Seal star, business at the Officer and Wealth stars.
What does a low BaZi compatibility score mean? Is the relationship doomed?
A low score only means the current energies between the two of you have friction — it doesn't predict the relationship's future. Classical metaphysics suggests that understanding each other's chart, avoiding clash periods, and leaning on noblemen and peach blossom stars can ease interactions.
