About FateMaster

FateMaster.ai is a Chinese metaphysics workbench that brings seven traditional systems into one place and uses AI to explain what they say.

Why we built it

Most AI fortune-telling tools hand the whole job to a language model and hope it knows what a Four Pillars chart looks like. It usually doesn't. Ask the same question twice and you get two different charts, which makes the whole reading worthless — if the chart itself is unstable, nothing built on top of it means anything.

We split the work in two.

A deterministic rule engine computes the chart first. Solar terms, the sexagenary cycle, palace and star placement, hexagram lines — all of it follows the established rules of each system, using ordinary astronomical and calendar calculation. Enter the same birth data twice and you get the same chart, every time.

Only then does AI read it back to you in plain language, and answer your follow-up questions about it. What varies between readings is the interpretation, not the astronomy.

One detail we care about: birth times are corrected to true solar time using the longitude of your birth place, rather than taken from the clock on the wall. For anyone born away from their time zone's meridian this can shift the hour pillar — and most free calculators skip it.

What's inside

Seven systems share one workspace:

  • BaZi Astrology (Four Pillars of Destiny)
  • Ziwei Doushu
  • Liu Yao
  • Mei Hua Yi Shu
  • Qi Men Dun Jia
  • Tarot Cards
  • AI Almanac

Compatibility goes past romance — ten relationship types are each read differently in BaZi, from marriage and dating to business partnership, leader and subordinate, parent and child, and in-laws.

Available in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Core readings are free and need no signup.

What we don't claim

We want to be straight about this.

FateMaster is a tool for cultural exploration and self-reflection. The traditional systems it works with have no scientific basis, and we make no exception for ourselves by putting AI in front of them. Readings should not be used as a basis for medical, financial, legal, marital or career decisions. We do not offer prophecy, and we do not promise outcomes.

What we do offer is a rigorous, reproducible implementation of these systems, and an interpretation you can question and push back on. Treat it as a lens, not an answer.

Who's behind it

FateMaster.ai is built and operated by POMODIARY LLC, a company registered in Newark, Delaware, United States.

We're a small independent team. If something is wrong, unclear, or missing, we would genuinely like to hear about it.
