Xin Yue Hu(Heart Mansion)

Xin Yue Hu is the traditional deity title for the Heart Mansion. Fifth in the standard list, Heart belongs to the Eastern Azure Dragon and sits between Room and Tail. Its three-star chain offers a clear example of why an asterism’s center and its determinative star are different concepts.

Xin Yue Hu(Heart Mansion) · Reading this star map
This map follows Stellarium’s Chinese Medieval reconstruction: north is up, east is left, and a red ring marks the determinative star. Lines are visual aids, not physical connections. An asterism is not the whole mansion region.

Reading this star map

The diagram links HIP 80112, HIP 80763 and HIP 81266 in sequence, with the middle star connecting both ends. However, the red ring marks HIP 80112, not the middle star. The determinative star is a positional reference, not necessarily the visual center. Find the ring before tracing the lines.

Understanding the deity title

Xin Yue Hu combines Heart, Moon and Fox. Moon is part of the traditional title: it does not place the Moon in this diagram or identify a Western astrological Moon sign. The fox can inspire art, but it does not establish that people born on a particular day are seductive, romantic or alike in personality.

What does this calculator result mean?

If a birthday lookup returns this mansion, the entered date is assigned to it by our daily almanac rules. It does not mean everyone born that day shares a personality, or that the Moon was inside this star pattern. Compare calendar, date and assignment system before comparing tools.

Further reading: personality associations

The historical text describes the roles of celestial asterisms. The life and personality associations below are our modern interpretations, not historical claims about people born on a particular date.

Xin's central star is linked to authority and rewards or penalties. The modern analogy concerns the weight of one's judgments: praise and criticism both affect others. This reading comes from responsibility, not fox stereotypes, and does not require taking responsibility for every reaction.
