Jing Mu An（Well Mansion）

Reading this star map
Well’s nine stars make a broad, interlaced pattern. Its reference lies toward the upper right, with another star farther right beside it. The diagram has nine segments; do not reduce it to the four strokes of the Chinese character 井. Follow the actual points and lines.
Understanding the deity title
The traditional title 井木犴 (Jing Mu An) combines the mansion character 井, the association 木, and the animal image 犴. The astronomical entry is Well Mansion. A deity portrait expresses cultural imagery; a star map records positions and connecting lines. They can be read together without expecting the star pattern to resemble the animal.

「主水衡事，法令所取平也」《晉書》卷十一・天文志上・二十八舍Jing is associated with a measure of fairness in law. A modern metaphor is explaining allocation rules and exceptions so neither familiarity nor silence determines the outcome. Consistency can coexist with listening carefully when someone's circumstances differ.
