FateMaster

Fortune-Telling AI Agent

BaZi, Zi Wei Dou Shu, Liu Yao, Mei Hua Yi Shu, Qi Men Dun Jia, and the Chinese Almanac each see a question differently. Tell me what is on your mind; the AI Agent will choose a suitable method, interpret the chart facts, and continue the conversation.

Charts first, language model second

An AI Chinese astrology reader grounded in calculation tools

Describe your question. The Agent chooses an appropriate system, runs FateMaster’s chart or divination engine, and then explains the structured result in the context of your question and conversation.

The FateMaster Agent does not hand every task to a language model. It separates calculation, tool selection, and explanation. Code produces the chart; AI orchestrates the tools, organizes the evidence, and handles follow-up questions.

How is one answer produced?

Each layer has a separate job. Understanding the boundary tells you which parts are repeatable and which require judgment.

  1. 01

    Understand the question

The Agent identifies whether you are asking about a long-term birth chart, a specific event, timing and direction, date selection, or a relationship between people.

When essential details are ambiguous, it should ask before calculating instead of filling the gap with a plausible guess.

  2. 02

    Run a deterministic engine

BaZi, Zi Wei Dou Shu, Liu Yao, Mei Hua, Qi Men, and the Almanac use their corresponding FateMaster modules. Pillars, stars, lines, and palaces are not invented by the model.

The same input and the same settings should produce the same underlying chart.

  3. 03

    Explain and continue

AI turns the structured output into readable reasoning, connects it to your question, and responds to corrections or follow-up questions in the same conversation.

Interpretation remains uncertain and should be read together with the chart facts, real-world context, and decision boundaries.

How does the Agent choose a system?

The task determines the tool. You can also name the method you want and ask the Agent to explain why it fits.

Personality, strengths, long-term cycles, and life themes

BaZi / Zi Wei Dou Shu

Builds a Four Pillars or twelve-palace birth chart before analyzing structure and timing.

The likely development, outcome, or timing of one specific matter

Liu Yao / Mei Hua Yi Shu

Casts a hexagram around one clear question. If you already have a hexagram, provide it unchanged.

Direction, timing, competition, negotiation, and action strategy

Qi Men Dun Jia

Builds a time-based nine-palace chart and reads direction and timing in relation to the stated goal.

Moving, opening a business, travel, weddings, and date selection

Chinese Almanac

Looks up the specified date, activities, clashes, and calendar context; a birth chart can be added when personalization is needed.

Compatibility between partners, relatives, or several people

Multi-person chart context

Loads each person separately and keeps named person slots so one chart is less likely to be attributed to another person.

Tarot is currently a separate tool

The Agent does not currently draw Tarot cards and will not invent a spread. Use the dedicated Tarot experience when you want to draw and interpret cards.

Algorithm transparency

Calculation facts and AI interpretation are kept separate

The BaZi page documents time correction, and the Zi Wei page documents star-placement rules. The Agent follows the same transparency principle at the orchestration layer: where data comes from, what code calculates, and what AI interprets.

01

Shared calculation modules

The Agent reuses the calculation implementations behind the dedicated BaZi, Zi Wei, Liu Yao, Mei Hua, and Qi Men tools instead of maintaining an invisible chat-only formula.

02

Input before conclusion

Solar or lunar date, leap month, birth timezone, daylight saving time, true solar time, midnight convention, and casting time can change a chart. Reliable behavior is to clarify material ambiguity first.

03

Visible tool activity

The answer interface shows the analysis tools used in the turn, helping you see whether the Agent actually calculated a chart, cast a hexagram, or queried a date.

04

Published capability boundaries

Unsupported actions are not disguised as general AI ability. Missing birth data, multiple reverse-search candidates, and Tarot card drawing require clarification, redirection, or a stop.

“Accuracy” means two different things

Chart reliability and interpretive certainty are not the same claim. Separating them is more useful than promising that one system is simply “the most accurate.”

Repeatable calculation

Was the chart calculated correctly?

  • The same birth data, calendar choice, and time settings should return the same pillars, star placements, or divination chart.
  • Parameters are checked for format and range; information that is clearly missing or contradictory should not pass silently.
  • If reverse BaZi lookup returns several possible eras, the Agent should ask you to identify the correct one rather than guess a birth year.
  • You can open the corresponding dedicated tool and compare the raw chart and settings.

Probabilistic interpretation

How should the reading be understood?

  • Tool selection can depend on how a question is phrased. For complex questions, name a method or ask why it was selected.
  • Schools can differ on strength, structure, useful elements, transformations, and divination conventions.
  • AI can omit context or overgeneralize. Verify chart facts first, then judge whether the reasoning follows from them.
  • Memory improves continuity and reference resolution; it does not change formulas or automatically make a reading more accurate.

Chinese astrology and divination are provided for cultural study, reflection, and decision support, not as scientific prediction. Do not base medical, legal, financial, safety, or other high-stakes decisions on a reading alone.

Why is a continuing conversation useful?

The Agent is most useful when you can question the same chart and clearly identified people instead of generating another disconnected report.

Memory reduces repetition and preserves context. It is not intended to store AI-generated astrological conclusions as personal facts.

01

Conversation context

Continue from the same chart into career, relationships, or timing without restating every detail in each turn.

02

Manageable memory

Save factual background such as work, concerns, or life stage, then review or delete it from the memory page.

03

Separate people

Named person slots distinguish you, a partner, relatives, or friends when several charts are used together.

04

Current input wins

When you correct a birth date or relationship in the current turn, the explicit new information should take priority over an older record.

How to ask a better question

A specific decision, complete inputs, and clearly named people produce a more checkable answer than “tell me my whole life.” Adapt any of these examples.

BaZi + Zi Wei

I was born on June 15, 1990 at 2:30 PM in Shanghai, male, using the solar calendar. Calculate BaZi and Zi Wei first, then compare what both charts say about career direction.

State the calendar, exact time, sex, and birthplace.

Liu Yao

I am deciding whether to accept a job offer and care most about growth during the next six months. Use Liu Yao and tell me what casting information you need.

Ask one concrete matter and name the criterion that matters to you.

Qi Men Dun Jia

I plan to negotiate a partnership in Guangzhou tomorrow afternoon. Cast a local-time Qi Men chart and focus on timing, useful directions, and risks to avoid.

Give the place, date, time, and action goal.

Multi-person comparison

Load my profile and my partner’s profile separately, then analyze the months with greater communication pressure next year. Identify whose chart is used at every step.

Name each person instead of relying only on “he,” “she,” or “they.”

Data, history, and usage boundaries

Trust comes from clear data purposes and user controls, not from an absolute claim that nothing can ever happen to your information.

Sign-in and trial access

You need to sign in before sending a question. A free trial is available; current limits and membership benefits are shown in your account and on the pricing page.

History and memory are separate

Conversation history restores a session, while memory carries factual context. You can review and delete stored memories from the memory manager.

Handled under the privacy policy

Birth data and conversation content are used to provide the analysis and generate responses. Current processing, service-provider, and deletion terms are described in the privacy policy.

AI Chinese Astrology Agent FAQ

01

How is the Agent different from a general AI chatbot?

A general model may generate a chart and interpretation directly from text. FateMaster first calls its chart, divination, or date tools and then explains their structured output. Calculation and interpretation are separate layers.

02

Which systems does the Agent currently support?

It can call BaZi, Zi Wei Dou Shu, Liu Yao, Mei Hua Yi Shu, Qi Men Dun Jia, and the Chinese Almanac. It also supports multi-person BaZi comparison, records, memory, and reverse Four Pillars date lookup.

03

Can the Agent draw Tarot cards?

Not currently. The Agent has no Tarot drawing tool and will not invent a spread. Use the dedicated Tarot experience to draw and interpret cards.

04

Can I use it without an exact birth time?

You can ask general questions or use event-focused divination. BaZi without an hour has only three known pillars, while Zi Wei Dou Shu cannot reliably establish a complete chart without the birth hour. The limitation should be stated rather than guessed away.

05

Do lunar dates, leap months, timezones, and true solar time matter?

Yes. They can change date conversion, the hour pillar, the Life Palace, or the divination time. Provide the calendar type, leap-month status, birthplace, and local time whenever possible.

06

Can it compare two or more people?

Yes. The Agent uses separate person identifiers and loads each chart independently. Clearly name each person and provide or select the correct birth record for each one.

07

What does the Agent remember, and can I delete it?

Memory is for factual context you provide, such as work, concerns, or life stage. AI-generated astrological conclusions should not become personal facts. Stored memories can be reviewed and deleted in the memory manager.

08

Is there a free trial?

A free trial is available after sign-in. Allowances, membership benefits, and pricing can change, so check the account state and pricing page for current terms.

09

What is the difference between chart accuracy and reading accuracy?

Chart accuracy concerns whether inputs, calendar rules, and formulas produce a repeatable chart. A reading also depends on method selection, school conventions, context, and AI judgment, so it has additional uncertainty.

10

Which decisions should not rely on a reading alone?

Medical, legal, financial, safety, and other high-stakes decisions require real-world evidence and qualified professional advice. A metaphysical reading should not replace either.
