Kui Mu Lang（Legs Mansion）
Kui Mu Lang is the traditional deity title for Legs Mansion, number 15 in the atlas and part of the Western White Tiger. It follows Wall Mansion and precedes Bond Mansion. This Chinese Medieval reconstruction contains 16 stars and 16 segments; HIP 3693 is the red-ringed reference star.

Reading this star map
Legs has sixteen stars in a long, narrow outline. Follow the outer shape in sections before counting individual points. Its red-ringed reference is on the lower right, not at the lowest tip. Several stars on the right are close together in this projection.
Understanding the deity title
The traditional title 奎木狼 (Kui Mu Lang) combines the mansion character 奎, the association 木, and the animal image 狼. The astronomical entry is Legs Mansion. A deity portrait expresses cultural imagery; a star map records positions and connecting lines. They can be read together without expecting the star pattern to resemble the animal.

「主以兵禁暴，又主溝瀆」《晉書》卷十一・天文志上・二十八舍Kui is linked with restraining violence and with channels. A modern metaphor is protecting people from harm while clearing practical obstacles. Conviction helps when it distinguishes actual harm from a disagreement that still deserves discussion.
