Reading this star map
Root has stars above, below, left and right, with its reference star at the far right. This version draws only three segments. Four corners do not imply a closed quadrilateral: follow the drawn lines rather than adding a fourth side.
Understanding the deity title
The traditional title 氐土貉 (Di Tu He) combines the mansion character 氐, the association 土, and the animal image 貉. The astronomical entry is Root Mansion. A deity portrait expresses cultural imagery; a star map records positions and connecting lines. They can be read together without expecting the star pattern to resemble the animal.

「王者之宿宮，后妃之府，休解之房」《晉書》卷十一・天文志上・二十八舍Di is described as a residence and a place of rest. Read as a metaphor, it evokes someone who offers a meal or a quiet seat before asking what was achieved. Making rest possible is a gift, provided the person offering it is allowed to be tired too.
