Reading this star map
Ghost’s four stars form an uneven four-sided outline. The reference is at lower right, with another star at a similar height on the left. This is an identifiable astronomical pattern. “Ghost” is a traditional name, not evidence of spirits in the diagram or danger on an assigned date.
Understanding the deity title
The traditional title 鬼金羊 (Gui Jin Yang) combines the mansion character 鬼, the association 金, and the animal image 羊. The astronomical entry is Ghost Mansion. A deity portrait expresses cultural imagery; a star map records positions and connecting lines. They can be read together without expecting the star pattern to resemble the animal.

「天目也，主視，明察奸謀」《晉書》卷十一・天文志上・二十八舍Gui is described as an eye that observes and detects concealed wrongdoing. As a modern metaphor, it suggests checking how an attractive promise will actually be fulfilled. Observation should open a question, not make hidden ill intent the default explanation for others' actions.
