🔑 How It Forms
Zi Wei sits in the Life Palace itself. Within the Life Palace's trinity (the palace itself + the opposite palace + the two trine palaces, four in all), both assistant stars Zuo Fu and You Bi must appear. Those same four palaces must also show at least one of the six lucky stars (Zuo Fu, You Bi, Tian Kui, Tian Yue, Wen Chang, Wen Qu). All three conditions met together form the pattern.

Zi Wei is the emperor star, and an emperor sitting alone at the Life Palace holds the title and nothing more; the quality of the pattern rests entirely on who stands beside him. That is why this pattern takes no measure of Zi Wei's brightness and inspects his staff instead. Zuo Fu and You Bi are the system's two great stars of support — one lifting you in the open, the other covering for you behind the scenes — and requiring both inside the trinity is the minimum bar of having a left hand and a right hand. The third step, any one of the six lucky stars, is a second registration: it is automatically satisfied once Zuo Fu and You Bi are in place, and its real job is to record Tian Kui and Tian Yue (the benefactor stars) and Wen Chang and Wen Qu (the literary stars) when they happen to be present too, so a reader can see how many people this staff actually numbers. Note that the trinity is counted as four palaces together: Zuo Fu and You Bi need not be crowded into the same palace as Zi Wei — reaching him from the opposite palace or a trine palace counts just as well.

Money follows position. Wealth comes through standing and platform rather than hand-to-hand combat, and it peaks when the person controls how resources get allocated.
Followers are never in short supply, and the same leading instinct shows up in love. What is needed is an ally — someone who can join the bench and plan the campaign alongside.
⚠️ When It Breaks
Lucky stars that arrive incomplete, or arrive mixed with Qing Yang, Tuo Luo, Huo Xing, and Ling Xing, make for an impure court and infighting on the bench. Zi Wei fallen, or struck by Hua Ji, drops the pattern a grade — read it then as ordinary talent for leadership, nothing more.
